A little about us
Who we are
Since late 2025 the Unity Chamber of Commerce has been the lead in all conversations
about the 2026 FIFA World Cup grassroots small business movement. Our CEO has
been working with the state’s diverse chambers for almost four years developing
resources that are made available for free. We have been asked to speak to thousands
of businesses in all corners of the state and have developed some of the most
successful World Cup networking events to date. Unity is not just about LGBTQ+, we
are about everyone, specifically diverse businesses. Together we are stronger, and New
Jersey is all in for inclusion because inclusion is good business.

Our Mission
The Unity Chamber of Commerce is the next generation in LGBTQ+ business advocacy
in New Jersey. As our CEO led the fight for recognition with the successful passing of
S1313/A3330 is making New Jersey the first and only state in the country to legally recognize LGBTQ+ owned businesses in the state. Unity now moves into the next phase of inclusion. Our goal at Unity is to build a 5,000+ strong network of LGBTQ+ owned businesses in the state in order to be part of the decision involving small businesses and the support
structures provided by the state, especially with diverse owned businesses.
What We Do
Certification
We promote the certification of LGBTQ+ owned businesses into “LGBT Business Enterprises® (LGBTBEs®)”. Certification is vital in providing more equitable access to the procurement streams of corporations, state and public agencies, and educational institutions.
Education
We provide webinars, workshops, networking events, and forums to aid professionals in increasing their knowledge and business acumen.
Networking
We host business and social networking events for our members to meet one another and form valuable relationships.
Corporate Outreach
We build relationships with New Jersey corporations and make them aware of local, certified small businesses by engaging their LGBTQ+ employee resource groups and diversity officers. Additionally, we actively promote and participate in corporate events focused on small business procurement, diversity, and inclusion.
Government Outreach
We regularly engage public and state agencies, elected officials, and those seeking public office to place a focus on the LGBTQ+ business community as a unique constituency. We often invite government officials to our events – not just as attendees, but as speakers to address policies, programs, and legislation that directly affect the small business community.
Student Outreach
We partner with colleges and universities by engaging their LGBTQ+ student groups and career offices, offering internships, volunteer opportunities, and information sharing. Our goal is to prepare LGBTQ+ students entering the business world as out professionals by helping them establish early connections in the LGBTQ+ business community.
